DG Marketplace Privacy Statement

DG Marketplace is committed to protecting your privacy and the information that you provide in the course of DG Marketplace sessions. The following information describes our privacy policies and how the information collected from you is used by DG Marketplace.

Required Registration Information
DG Marketplace's registration requires you to provide an email address, name, and a PIN (i.e., password) number. This information is kept confidential and is not released to anyone unless requested by you as specified in the DG Sponsor Contact Process below.

We use your customer contact information from the registration form for the following purposes:

1. To notify you of new features and site characteristics (you may opt-out of this service on registration or at a later time) and
2. To periodically ask your opinion about the DG Marketplace site and DG issues (you may opt-out of this service on registration or at a later time).

Optional User Information
Additional, optionally-provided user information including an indication of your interests in DG helps us identify DG Marketplace extensions which will be of greatest value to you and other users. This information is kept confidential and is not released to anyone.

DG Site Information
Conducting DG analysis customized for your site requires that we know your business type, size, and a few other characteristics. This information is kept confidential and is not released to anyone unless requested by you as specified in the DG Sponsor Contact Process.

DG Site Analysis Summary Information
Some of the results generated for each DG site analysis are saved by DG Marketplace to:

1. Remind you of DG analysis that you have already conducted at your site
2. Allow us to alert you when inputs to your analyses have changed (e.g., electric rate changes, equipment cost changes) so that you have an opportunity to rerun the site analysis
3. Suggest additional analysis specifications which you might want to evaluate

This DG site analysis summary information is kept confidential and is not released to anyone.

DG Sponsor Contact Process
An optional DG Marketplace service, will, only at your specific and verified request, send information on you or your site or DG site analysis conducted at DG Marketplace to sponsors, identified by you, for follow-up contact concerning products and services offered by these sponsors. By asking us to send site analysis information developed in DG Marketplace, you will provide information which helps the product/service provider to develop a more accurate initial view of your DG-related needs and to respond in an appropriate manner.

This contact process is conducted according to the following procedure to insure that only the information you specify is sent to DG sponsors you select.

In order for information on you or your site or DG Marketplace site analysis to be sent to a DG sponsor, you must:

1. Specifically request forwarding of information to a sponsor by checking an option similar to "Please Send Information That I Have Specified Above to the Corporate Sponsors That I Selected ."
2. Specifically identify the nature of your desired contact (e.g., Please send me product information by mail).
3. Review, in a separate screen, the contents which will be sent and to whom it will be sent.
4. Specifically acknowledge that the reviewed information is to be sent to the selected DG sponsors by clicking a button to initiate the email transfer of the information in the review screen where the button has a label similar to "Please Send This Information to The Sponsors Whom I have Selected."

In other words, information on you and/or your site and/or your DG Marketplace analysis results is sent to a DG sponsor only if you specifically request it, approve of the information to be sent, specify the kind of contact you want to initiate, specify DG sponsors to whom the information is sent, review and approve of the information and sponsor recipients and then take action to actually send the email transaction. Information on you and your site will never be sent to any party without a request initiated and approved by you with the above procedure.

Cookies
When you visit the DG Marketplace site, a cookie (a small amount of data) is saved on your hard drive. The cookie holds your DG Marketplace user ID and session information so that you can rerun analyses without entering basic site information or reregistering.

Opt-Out
DG Marketplace provides users the opportunity to opt-out of future DG Marketplace sessions by sending an email request to webmaster@dgmarketplace.com.

You may choose to opt-out of receiving information (1) notifying you of new features and site characteristics and/or (2) to periodically ask your opinion about the DG Marketplace site and DG issues.
